A Network of Hubs
The BSC AI Factory (BSC AIF) operates a network of four fully operational hubs across Spain, Portugal, and Romania, each strategically located to connect startups, SMEs, researchers, and public administrations with AI expertise and HPC resources.
Barcelona, Spain: Principal Hub
Pier 07 - Tech Barcelona, Via Laietana 26, Barcelona
The main hub is hosted at Pier07, part of Tech Barcelona's Urban Tech Campus, placing the AI Factory at the heart of Barcelona's innovation ecosystem, alongside universities and research centers, and other initiatives.

- Access to a 90-person auditorium and a rooftop terrace with city views for networking events

Guimarães, Portugal
MITH – Minho Innovation & Technology Hub, Azurém
Located next to the University of Minho campus, home to the EuroHPC Deucalion supercomputer.

Lisbon, Portugal

Based at the University of Lisbon's Technology Transfer and Knowledge Enhancement Centre, co-located with the CNCA team.

Portugal also runs a "proximity" model: temporary co-working hubs (1 week–1 month) set up closer to local SMEs and startups, in partnership with networks like RNi, EDIHs, CoLABs, ARDITI (Madeira), Nonagon and Terinov (Azores).
Bucharest, Romania

Hosted within Romania's leading ICT research institute (ICI Bucharest, founded 1970), integrating startups directly with researchers, mentors, and ongoing R&D infrastructure.

Türkiye
No physical hub — instead, 1–3 day thematic workshops are organized in technoparks and universities in collaboration with EDIHs and NGOs.
