BSC AI Factory connects with Europe’s startup ecosystem at VivaTech 2026

Thanks to the collaboration with the AI Factory France, BSC AI Factory experts travelled to  VivaTech 2026, held from 17 to 20 June at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The BSC AI Factory showcased its 24 services in a dedicated space at the Inria booth located at Pavilion 7, Booth 2H66, which served as a hub for European AI research and innovation throughout the event.

On 18 June, Mariona Sanz, BSC Head of Innovation and Business Development and BSC AIF Lead, participated in the panel session “The European AIFA Programme”, highlighting the role of the European AI Factory network in supporting innovation and strengthening Europe's AI ecosystem at the same booth.

VivaTech also provided an opportunity to engage with promising startups from the Portuguese innovation ecosystem. Among the 20 Portuguese startups selected for the Business Abroad@VivaTech programme at the Startup Portugal stand, Enline is already users of BSC AI Factory services, as well as Planta Smart Homes. In addition, Startup Portugal experts opened the possibility of welcoming more startups and shared the from incubation programmes in Guimarães and Lisbon, further strengthening connections with emerging AI-driven ventures.

Throughout the event, BSC AIF experts Sergi Besonias, Arnau Cuatrecasas, and Martí Andreu actively engaged with startups, innovators and ecosystem partners, presenting the opportunities available through the BSC AI Factory and identifying new collaboration opportunities. Their participation helped strengthen connections with key European AI stakeholders and reinforced the shared commitment to supporting the growth of an accessible and collaborative AI innovation ecosystem. 

Cristian Canton, BSC Associate Director, also participated in an interview highlighting the partnership between BSC and NVIDIA for Startups, showcasing the opportunities created for startups and innovators developing AI-driven solutions through the pilot initiative of the ongoing acceleration programme.
